Volunteering

The Multiple Birth Association of WA  is run entirely by VOLUNTEER Association Members, who are all Multiple Birth Parents. Every member is able to assist the Association, whether is be in a committee role or on a need by need basis.

Even just regularly attending our coffee groups or social events will help us create a more supportive community and a more effective Association.  If you have an area of expertise, skill or some valuable spare time that you would like to share with us, please contact us.

The Committee

We have a number of Committee Roles that members can volunteer for. See Committee Roles page for the complete list.

Committee roles are opened up for nominations each year at the Annual General Meeting, however many of them do become vacant throughout the year.

Occasional Volunteering

We have a range of ways that you can contribute to the Association , including:

  • manning stalls at an event
  • cooking sausages on the BBQ at a picnic
  • baking for a cake stall
  • leading a coffee group
  • contributing a story to the newsletter
  • participating in a parent panel at one of our events
  • hospital visiting
  • writing a book review for our library
  • taking on a committee role
