PDMBA Library

We stock an informative selection of books, mostly on twins and triplets, and general child care, which we update with annual purchases. We believe our library is the most comprehensive in Western Australia on all aspects of multiples. The library can be especially useful for expectant parents who want to learn as much as possible before the birth of their children. The library also contains a variety of literature for sale including booklets on breastfeeding multiples, parenting multiples, multiples in school etc.

How to Search the Catalogue

• GENERAL SEARCH

On the top right hand side of the page there is a little box that says “Search your library”, enter the title, author or subject/tag you’re seeking.

• SEARCH BY TITLE

Click on the top of the Title Column and all books will be ordered alphabetically according to Title, then you can scroll through.

• SEARCH BY AUTHOR

Click on the top of the Author Column and all books will be ordered alphabetically according to Author, then you can scroll through.

• SEARCH BY TAGS

Click on the top of the Tags Column and all books will be ordered alphabetically according to Tags, then you can scroll through. Alternatively, you can click on the Tags tab up at the top left hand side and this will show all tags used in the library, then you can click on each tag to bring up all the books that have that tag.

• SEARCH BY BOOK COVER

On the top left hand side is an icon that says Covers. Click on this icon to see all the book covers on one page.

• BROWSING AND MOVING BETWEEN PAGES

On the top right hand side of the page, underneath the word “Search” are the pages of the library catalogue you can click on each page to move through the catalogue. Alternatively, click on the print icon in the middle of the top of the page to show a printable catalogue all on one page

Borrowing Books

If you wish to borrow any of the books in this library please email: library@pdmba.org.au

Please include:

• Your name,
• Address
• Phone number
• The book title and author

The Librarian will then contact you to arrange postal or collection.

Note that all items can be loaned for up to one month.
